MegaTen (Megami Tensei) is a long-running media franchise, made up of mostly video game releases, which began in 1987 with the release of Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei (video game) in Japan. This franchise was created by Aya Nishitani, Kouji Okada, Ginichiro Suzuki, and Kazunari Suzuki. This series began as an adaptation of a novel called Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei, of which the aforementioned video game was an adaptation of. Despite this series being mostlu developed by ATLUS, the TELENET version of Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei is also worth mentioning, as it even came out before the ATLUS title.
